In the summer of 2007, Robang Publishing’s ArtCard Ideas 2007 Idea Deck Contest received 162 entries from 58 artists in 6 countries and 25 states for our first (and only) Fiber/Fabric Postcard Contest.
We hoped for a small response from the online world of fabric artists and got an avalanche of fun, elegant, wacky and wonderful postcards.
And when it came time vote for the best, the artists brought their friends and family—and maybe even strangers they picked up off the street…who knows what those crazy quilters will do when there’s a prize to be won?
In the end, site visitors cast 1592 votes for their favorite fabric postcards, which you’ll find in the Winners Circle.
